Integration

Integration

The distance between understanding something and actually living differently.

Understanding a pattern and living differently are not the same event. A familiar reaction can be faster than a new intention, and the situation may not offer the choice you would prefer.

If you experiment, keep it small and reversible. If you do not, observation remains a complete use of this Mirror. Review whatever happened as information, not as a pass or a fail.

Objective. Translate an observation into a realistic, optional experiment and review the result without treating it as a measure of personal worth.

Pauses in a script are marked. Read at your own pace.

Seeing a pattern does not automatically change it.

A familiar reaction can arrive before there is time to choose. The situation may also limit what is possible. You do not need to erase the reaction in order to try a different response, and you do not need to try a different response at all.

If you experiment, keep it small enough to review. Ask one question. Wait once, where waiting is safe. State a boundary. Or only watch.

Whatever happens is information. It is not a grade.
